My name is John Handy and I have a passion for our beautiful countryside here in Kent. My story starts with my childhood growing up on a fruit farm with some arable and a small farm shoot and some stock. My father is a true countryman and a gamekeeper and taught me about the many aspects of the countryside and the people that work in the countryside and the surrounding villages and the rural communities and local businesses all working hand in hand.
As a young lad growing up in this fantastic environment I very quickly found a connection with taking pictures on a 35mm film camera and my surroundings.
As a keen photographer i found myself capturing images of the various activities going on in our family parish.
Moving my story into the present day and my love and passion for the countryside and photography i now take pictures on a professional level covering Kent, East Sussex and Sussex and Surrey and will happily travel further afield although a discussion to cover mileage and accommodation would have to happen.
Due to my understanding of the rural communities and the love and joy the countryside brings to many people i am ideally suited to helping you achieve your vision because I want to bring that personal touch to catch the images that matter to you. Whether it’s a canine photoshoot to capture your dog outdoors or an equine photoshoot in the wood’s or perhaps you want me to shoot a wedding and catch the rural appeal of getting married in a beautiful church or a barn or maybe a christening photoshoot or an engagement shoot or just some beautiful family outdoor portrait photos.
I also cover agricultural and livestock and landscape photography for you to use for media use or to update images for your own website to promote your business or to photograph a product and bring it to life. I also do head shots of the people that make up your business. I cover field to fork photography to promote the important work going on in the rural landscape.
I can accompany you for the day to document your activities. Everything from various equine related events to a day of fly fishing or to photograph a day’s shooting or to document your business. Basically any activity that you want personally captured for a lifetime then i can do that.
I bring my passion for the great outdoors to produce images that can be cherished for ever.
